About

Each post in this blog features a specific antique wheel, loom, or fiber tool that I have collected and use. Most have been given names, which makes it easier for me to identify and refer to them. Almost all were long neglected, spending decades unused, often in barns, attics, and basements. With cleaning, adjustments, and repairs they have been brought back to working life, spinning, weaving, and processing flax. They are amazing tools and I am privileged to be the latest part of their history.
